The Centre Oftalmològic Menorquí is twenty-seven years old, but its origins go back to the forties, when Dr. Pedro Bosch Olives started his ophthalmological practice on Menorca, his native island, which he ran until his death in 1970.

The Centre Oftalmològic Menorquí does not only offer Menorcans all the advances in the day-to-day practice of the specialism, both medical and surgical, but also, since October 2002, it is proud to make available to the island's inhabitants surgery for refraction defects using Excimer laser (LASIK), under the direction of Doctor Miguel March Balle. This fulfills the old dream of covering all sides of ophthalmology, without the need for sea or air travel.
